Request a business valuation

Share the basics. Explore your next chapter.

A restaurant buyer needs more than a busy dining room to assess an offer. Fresno Business Brokers Prime lets owners request a valuation conversation about the records and agreements behind the operation.

Begin with reported earnings

Reconcile sales reports, tax records and operating expenses. Separate normal trading from unusual events, and explain any owner work that a buyer would need to replace.

Break out catering, delivery or other revenue where relevant. Buyers need to see the costs that come with each channel rather than assuming every sales dollar produces the same margin.

Read the lease before setting expectations

Check the remaining term, renewal options and provisions affecting assignment or ownership changes. A buyer may need landlord approval or a new agreement.

List equipment with its ownership or lease status. Identify repair needs and distinguish business assets from items supplied by the landlord or another party.

Coordinate the approvals

Health permits, business registrations and any ABC license need their own review. An agreed business price does not mean the buyer can begin operating immediately.

If an alcohol license is included, involve the appropriate advisors and ABC early. The transfer process can require escrow and other steps before the application is filed.

Keep the inquiry proportionate

The initial form asks for basic business and contact details. Save detailed financial files and staff information for an appropriate private review process with the valuation partner.
